An engagement ring builder for your website

An engagement ring builder puts a live 3D configurator on your website: shoppers pick a band, a head, a metal and a stone, and the ring and its price update with each choice. The price is the sum of the parts, and the server recalculates the price and SKU at checkout, so nothing in the browser can change it. It installs on Shopify, WooCommerce or your own site, with band engraving, a certified loose-diamond feed and Stripe checkout.

How it works

  1. Publish a Ring Builder. In Dashboard → Embeds, create a Ring Builder embed and choose its default ring, the metals on offer, the steps and their labels, and whether shoppers can try it on.
  2. Set prices and the cart. Give the builder its own currency, markup and per-part prices, add centre-stone tiers or a live diamond feed, and pick how a finished ring reaches your cart.
  3. Install it on your store. Copy the Shopify, WooCommerce or custom-site recipe, or the plain iframe. Shoppers build a ring, watch its price change and add it to the cart with a quote the server has checked.

The builder draws its rings with the same renderer that made this halo ring, so the quickest test is to build a ring in the studio.

What you get

  • Bands, heads and variants. Shoppers pick a band and choose the head by shape, setting, carat and any other option the catalogue defines. The matching head loads, with a variant picker when several share a combination, and each head is seated onto the band automatically.
  • A price that adds up. The price is the sum of the parts: band, head, metal, the centre stone by carat and a making charge. The SKU and total update with each choice, and the server recalculates both at checkout.
  • Your own price book. Each builder can have its own currency, markup, rounding and per-part prices, and can price the metal from each ring's measured weight and your price per gram (how it works). The free ring cost estimator runs a similar sum for a single ring.
  • Real diamonds. Connect a certified loose-diamond feed with your own markup rules, and real stones appear in the centre-stone step. Shoppers filter them by shape, carat, colour, clarity and price, and the ring takes the shape and carat of the stone they pick.
  • Band engraving. Live curved 3D text on the band, in nine fonts, with symbols, inside or outside placement and a choice of size, cut into the metal or colour-filled. It carries into the cart and the shareable link, with an optional surcharge (band engraving).
  • Ring size and try-on. A ring size step in US, UK and EU sizes, and try-on by live camera, hand photo or a photoreal model hand, without leaving the page. The free ring size converter maps one size system to another.
  • Checkout or enquiry. Connect Stripe and shoppers pay for the ring they build, straight into your own Stripe account. Or send it to your cart as a matched variant, a new variant at the exact price, a Shopify draft order or an event your code handles. Bespoke work still arrives as a priced enquiry (checkout and pricing).
  • Shopify, WooCommerce or your own site. A Ring Builder 3D section for any Shopify theme, a WooCommerce plugin with a shortcode, ready recipes for Wix and custom sites, and a plain iframe. Connect your Shopify store and its orders are attributed back to the builder. More in 3D jewellery on Shopify and the Shopify and WooCommerce guides.
  • An API for your own front end. The catalogue and server quotes are on the REST and GraphQL API, listed in the developer reference.

Who uses it

  • Jewellers selling engagement rings online who want shoppers to choose the setting, the metal and the centre stone themselves, at a price that holds at checkout.
  • Shopify and WooCommerce stores that want each built ring to reach the cart as a real line at the quoted price, engraving included.
  • Workshops that make to order. A build arrives as a priced enquiry, so the first conversation starts from a specific ring.

Which plan you need

Building a ring in the studio is free. Publishing the builder on your own site starts on the Starter plan. Stripe checkout, the pricing manager, the live diamond feed, the Shopify app and the API start on Growth. The pricing page lists the rest.

Questions

Can a shopper change the price in the browser?

No. The server recalculates the total from the parts the shopper chose, and Add to cart, Stripe checkout and the WooCommerce plugin all use that server quote. A page edited in the browser cannot set its own price.

Does it work with Shopify and WooCommerce?

Yes. On Shopify, add the Ring Builder 3D section to your theme and paste your embed ID, and the builder puts the configured ring in the cart with no variant ID or cart code. On WooCommerce, install the Ring Builder 3D plugin and place its shortcode on a page.

Can shoppers choose a real diamond?

Yes, once you connect a certified loose-diamond feed to the builder: real stones appear in the centre-stone step, priced with your markup. Without a feed, the centre stone is priced by its carat.
