Jewelry rendering software that runs in your browser
The studio is jewelry rendering software that runs in your web browser, so there is nothing to install. Upload a CAD file and it renders photoreal: diamonds refract and disperse light, and metals and stones are detected from the file's layer and object names. Stills export at up to 4K and turntables as MP4 or WebM video, paid for in credits; viewing and embedding never use them.

How it works
- Upload the CAD file. Drop a 3DM, GLB, GLTF, STL, OBJ, FBX, DAE or PLY file into the studio. A Rhino or MatrixGold .3dm opens as it is, with its own units and layers.
- Check what it found. Metals, stones and prongs are detected from layer and object names. On a ring, Ring parts lists the band, head, centre stone and accent stones, and you can switch any part that is wrong.
- Frame the shot and export. Orbit to the angle you want and save it as a view, then download a still, record a turntable or render a set. Camera, saved views and capture covers each option.

Try the same engine on your own file in the free 3D jewellery renderer, with no account needed.
What you get
- Gems that read as gems. Diamonds get real refraction, dispersion and fire under studio lighting, and coloured stones keep their saturation instead of turning grey or black.
- Metals and light set up for jewellery. Physically based presets for yellow, white and rose gold, platinum and silver, lit by a studio rig and swappable HDR environments, with a shadow or reflection under the piece.
- Materials read from the file. With Auto-detect colors on, each part keeps the metal or stone it was detected as. From the Starter plan, Selective materials recolours any one part. See gems, metals and two-tone finishes.
- Stills in any aspect ratio. PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 1080p on the Free plan, 2K on Starter and 4K on Growth and above.
- Turntable video. MP4 or WebM, on the Starter plan and above; the Free plan has no video export. Every frame is rendered at its exact moment, so the clip plays back smoothly even on a slow computer, which only takes longer to finish.
- Saved views and the Showcase Set. Saved views are captured exactly as framed and kept with the design. From the Starter plan, the Showcase Set renders three ring angles, the ring on a model hand and the ring in a presentation box in one click, as a single .zip.
- Beauty renders and lifestyle shots. A beauty render combines many frames into one still, with cleaner facets and metal edges than the live view. A lifestyle shot uses AI to stage the current view in a scene such as marble or a gift box, while the ring stays a real 3D render. Both are on the Growth plan and above.
- Your logo, or none. On the Free plan, renders carry the 3D Jewelry Designer logo. Paid plans can remove it or replace it with your own logo or text.
- One file for every surface. The model you render also drives the interactive 3D viewer and AR try-on.
Who uses it
- Jewellery stores and online brands that need stills and turntable video for product pages, ads and social posts, made from the CAD file rather than a photo shoot.
- Designers and CAD artists who want a client to see a design rendered before it is cast, without a desktop renderer. A share link lets the client turn the piece themselves.
- Manufacturers and wholesalers with a catalogue of Rhino or MatrixGold files; Rhino and MatrixGold rendering covers what happens to them on upload.
- Agencies and platform teams that render for several clients from one workspace and drive renders from their own systems over the API, from the Growth plan.
What a render costs
Credits pay for exports and AI features. Viewing, AR try-on and embedding never use them. The Free plan includes 25 credits a month, the Starter plan 1200 and the Growth plan 5000. Top-up credits you buy never expire.
| Export | Credits |
|---|---|
| HD image export (1080p) | 1 |
| 2K image export | 2 |
| 4K image export | 4 |
| Beauty render (supersampled) | 4 |
| AI lifestyle shot | 4 |
| Video render (per second) | 2 |

Questions
Do I need to install anything to render a ring?
No. The studio runs in a web browser, with no plugin, desktop app or render farm to set up. You can load a piece without an account; a free account, with no credit card, unlocks exporting.
How many credits does a render use?
It depends on the export: a larger still costs more than a smaller one, and video is charged per second. Every plan includes a monthly allowance, and top-up credits you buy never expire. Viewing and embedding never use credits.
Do coloured gemstones render as well as diamonds?
Yes. Coloured stones such as emerald, ruby and sapphire keep their saturation instead of turning grey or black. On an uploaded ring you can give all the stones, or only the accent stones, a different gem.
Can it render every metal and stone option in one batch?
Not yet. Batch rendering across metals, stones and camera angles from one model is on the roadmap. Today you change the metal or stone and export again, or render the Showcase Set of ready-framed angles in one click on a paid plan.
Will my renders carry a watermark?
On the free plan they carry the brand logo. Paid plans can remove it or replace it with your own logo or text, and the choice applies to exports, share links and embeds alike.
