Virtual ring try-on: see a ring on your own hand
Pick a metal and a stone, then try the ring on in your browser. It opens on a photoreal model hand; switch to your live camera and the ring tracks your finger, or upload a photo of your hand and it is placed for you. Use the sample solitaire or drop your own .3dm, .glb, .stl or .obj file. No app to install, and nothing from your camera leaves your device.

Try a ring on
Ring
Sample solitaire
Opens on a photoreal model hand. Switch to your live camera or a photo of your hand inside. Nothing from the camera leaves your device.
Three ways to try it on
On a model hand shows the ring on a photoreal 3D hand, rendered like the studio, with a choice of skin tones. Drag to turn it and choose which finger it sits on.
Live camera tracks your own hand. Hold the back of your hand to the camera in even light, reasonably close, and the ring sits at the base of the finger and turns as you move. A line above the controls tells you to move closer, further back or into the middle until it can fit the ring.
Photo places the ring on a picture of your hand, from a phone shot or an upload, centred on the finger and sized to it.
Getting a good result
Show the back of the hand with the fingers apart, in steady light. On a phone, the front camera is the one you can watch while you hold your hand up. The guide to AR try-on covers every control, including fit settings and saving a high-resolution image.
Questions
Do I need to install an app?
No. It runs in the browser on a phone or a computer. The first time you use the camera, the browser asks for permission.
Does my camera video get uploaded?
No. Hand tracking runs on your device and nothing from the camera is sent anywhere.
Can it tell me my ring size?
It shows an estimate with its range after a few seconds with your palm flat to the camera, because a camera cannot measure exact size. For a firm size, use a ring gauge or the ring size converter.
Can I put this on my own shop?
Yes. The same try-on runs inside a ring builder or a viewer embedded on your product pages, so shoppers can try a ring on without leaving the page.
