Gems, metals and two-tone finishes
Pick a gemstone or metal preset from the right-side tools and it applies to the whole piece, including a ring open in the Ring Builder. The metal library also includes ceramic and pearl finishes. Quick materials gives a one-tap shortcut to common gems and metals, Selective materials recolors a single part, and a published Setting metal or Accent stones dimension lets the head differ from the band.

Presets apply to the whole piece
Pick a gemstone or metal preset from the right-side tools; it applies to the whole piece, including a ring open in the Ring Builder (the price and SKU use the closest option your admin has published). The metal library also includes ceramic (white/black glazed) and pearl (white, cream, pink, Tahitian black) finishes.
Quick materials
Quick materials (sliders icon above the bottom bar): tap it for a one-tap shortcut to common gems and metals, with a Gems / Metals toggle. While the ring builder is open it steps aside: use the builder's own Metal and Gem steps there, which offer every metal your admin has published rather than just the common three.
Two-tone metal and accent stones
When your admin has published a Setting metal or Accent stones dimension, a ring-builder embed shows an extra picker for each, so the band keeps the main Metal while the head (and the pave) can be a different one. Every such picker starts on Match, which means "inherit the main choice", so a plain single-metal ring is unchanged and the shopper can always go back to it. A part that differs is priced as an upcharge on top of the base metal, on its own line in the breakdown, never charged twice. With cost-based pricing on, the metal and the accent stones are priced from their measured weight instead; see Weight, stones and cost-based pricing.
Auto-detect colors
By default Auto-detect colors is on, so each part keeps its detected metal/gem color. Turn it off (top of the Gems/Metals panel) to force the studio look (Gold Polished + Diamond White 1) instead.
Selective materials
Selective materials (bottom bar): turn it on, then click a single part to recolor just that part.
